Be a Part of Something Big.

tenWe’ve got a tough fight. In Georgia, almost 1 million children are overweight or obese. Across the nation, we lost 23 percent of our honeybee population last year, likely due to a new class of pesticides. And across the globe, up to 29 percent of all human-caused greenhouse gases come from conventional farming.

These are huge problems, and we need to face up to them with a big-picture solution. As a Georgia Organics Sustainer, you’ll be able to say that you decided to step up.

Georgia Organics Sustainers are a group of loyal members whose automatic monthly gifts help Georgia Organics be there for our state’s farmers, families, and environment. From helping sustainable farmers in Georgia become more successful growers and business owners to helping kids form positive relationships with healthy foods to breaking down the barriers that prevent families from accessing those resources, Sustainers make this work possible.

Sustainer

We’re setting a goal of getting 100 Sustainers to join by October 1st. Why 100? Georgia Organics touches the lives of at least 100 farmers, kids, and families every month, and having the sustained support of 100 supporters behind us will strengthen our efforts.

“Georgia Organics does great outreach in all directions, whether it’s for new rules and legislation, getting customers excited about real food, or for farmers with the conference and all the on-farm workshops. It’s the go-to organization that brings us all together.” – Wendy Crager, Crager Hager Farm, member since 2001

From the day you begin your donation, your monthly gift will help create a more sustainable, just, and healthy Georgia.

How it works

For tax purposes, you’ll receive one gift acknowledgement each January reflecting all your donations from the previous year. Your credit card bill can also serve as a monthly record of your contributions.

You can change or stop your contribution at any time. Just notify katek@georgiaorganics.org at least 10 business days before your next scheduled donation. Donations are processed on the same date of the month you began the recurring donation process.
