Tammy Burnell and her husband left their home in Iowa with little more than a dream of owning and operating a farm in Georgia. They started leasing land from Ron Prather and his family in 2009 and, since then, have become Burnell Farms. In this interview, Tammy tells the story of how she found the Prather family. Ron then shares what it’s like to have the Burnells farming on land that has been in his family for more than one hundred years.
