We spoke with one of our biggest supporters at the Georgia Department of Public Health to find out why their excited to be an exhibitor this year in Columbus.

Georgia Shape gets the opportunity to connect with partners, stakeholders, school leaders, and community organizations while attending the Georgia Organics Conference who are all working toward a common goal of improving youth wellness. It’s a chance to discover innovative programming across the state and encourage collaboration efforts.

  1. How do you attract attention to your booth?

Georgia Shape offers a variety of fun, free give-away items that promote physical activity. We also offer colorful reading materials in one-pager formats for guests to take home.

  1. What is unique about the Georgia Organics Conference?

This conference brings together multiple sectors of community programming that rarely have the chance to collaborate. As a government agency, Georgia Shape appreciates the opportunity to network with farmers, food industry representatives, and school personnel in workshops and informational sessions.

  1. What are you most looking forward to about the Georgia Organics Conference?

Georgia Shape is looking forward to the networking events and the chance to engage new potential partnerships for disseminating statewide school nutrition efforts. The Farmers Feast is also always a highlight of this conference!
