Continuing Education

Q: I am an early care and education educator or administrator. Is the Summit currently approved for any continuing education credits?
A: We are currently seeking approval for up to six hours of continuing education credits for early care educators and administrators through Georgia DECAL’s Georgia Training Approval System. Please check back later.

Q: I am a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist. Is the Summit currently approved for any continuing education credits?
A: We are currently seeking continuing education credits through the Committee on Dietetic Registration. Please check back later.

Exhibitors

Q: I’d like to be an exhibitor or sponsor. Where can I find more information?
A: Contact porter@georgiaorganics.org if you are interested in becoming a sponsor or exhibitor. Please note, exhibitors and sponsors will be registered by Porter.

Q: I am an exhibitor but want to attend workshops, is that cool?
A: Yes! All exhibitors receive two 2-day education passes. Please note that exhibitors can only attend Thursday on site workshops.

Q: I am an exhibitor attending with my business partner or spouse. Can we take turns manning the booth to attend Summit?
A: The exhibitor package includes two 2-day education passes.

Lodging

Q: Is there a room block available for discounted hotel lodging?
A: Yes. View the lodging page for information on room blocks.

Registration

Q: What is the deadline to register for the Summit?
A: The deadline to register is Mon. May 13.

Q: I purchased a Saturday only pass. Can I still attend the Expo Reception on Friday?
A: Yes! All attendees are invited to the Expo Reception on Friday.

Georgia Organics Member Code Discounts

Q: Do Georgia Organics members receive a discount?
A: Yes, Georgia Organics members receive a 10% discount code.

Q: Where do I find my Georgia Organics member discount code?
A: All members will receive an email with the discount code. Not sure if you’re a member? Contact Porter@georgiaorganics.org.

Q: How do I become a Georgia Organics member or renew my membership?
A: Join as a member of Georgia Organics by clicking here. Then scroll down and click on the “Join” button. Once you’ve joined, send your confirmation email to porter@georgiaorganics.org to receive the discount code.

Q: My school or school district is a member. How many staff receive membership discounts?
A: Schools that are members can use the member code for one registration for Summit. Employees at the school are eligible for 50% individual memberships which receive membership pricing at events.

Cancellation & Substitution

Q: I can no longer attend Summit, can I get a refund?
A: Yes, we will refund the registration less a $50 processing fee until 5 p.m. on Friday, May 31. Please e-mail your request to ashley@georgiaorganics.org.

Q: I can no longer attend Summit and would like to substitute someone else for my registration. How do I go about this?
A: We are happy to substitute the name on our end, but it’s up to you to work out the finances of the substitution. Please email us at ashley@georgiaorganics and give us the name and email address of your substitute.

Field Trip & Workshop Registration Check in

Q: I am registered for a Friday workshop. Where do I check in?
A: Attendees registered for Friday workshops should check in on site at the Summit registration desk before their workshop. Please plan to arrive 20 to 30 minutes before your workshop to check in.

Q: I am registered for a Friday field trip. Where do I check in?
A: Attendees registered for Friday field trips will be e-mailed details for their field trip two weeks before the event. If you have questions about a field trip, contact kimberlykoogler@gmail.com. Please note, transportation for the field trips will leave at 1:30 pm.

Speaker Registrations

Q: I am Friday workshop or field trip speaker. How do I register for the Summit?
A: All Friday speakers receive a complimentary two day education pass.  All speakers will receive a code to use when registering that brings their education pass cost down to $0. Can’t find the code? Email renee@georgiaorganics.org.

Q: I am a Saturday session speaker. How do I register for Summit?
A: All Saturday speakers receive a complimentary Saturday education pass and ticket to the Friday Expo Reception. All speakers will receive a code to use when registering that brings their Saturday education pass cost down to $0. If you would like to attend a Friday workshop or field trip, you can add this to your registration for an additional fee. Can’t find the Saturday speaker pass code? Email renee@georgiaorganics.org.

Waiting Lists for Field Trips, Workshops, and Education Sessions

Q: If a Friday field trip or workshop is sold out, can I be added to a waiting list for it?
A: Yes, please contact ashley@georgiaorganics.org with your request and include “Waiting List <workshop/field trip name>” in the subject line.

Scholarships

Q: Do you offer scholarships to attend conference?
A: The scholarship application is now closed.

Q: I applied for a scholarship but haven’t heard back. When will I be notified of my status?
A: Applicants will be notified of their scholarship status by April 25.

Sponsors and Exhibitors

Q: I  am interested in becoming a sponsor or exhibitor of the Summit. How do I receive more information?
A: Please contact Porter@georgiaorganics.org for more information on sponsorship and exhibiting.

Q: I just registered as a sponsor or exhibitor. How do I register the attendees that are part of my sponsorship package?
A: Registration for all sponsors and their complimentary attendees will be done separately from the registration site. Please contact Porter@georgiaorganics.org to register your attendees.

Volunteers

Q: Is there an opportunity for discounted registration by volunteering at Summit?
A: We are not currently able to offer discounts for volunteering at Summit.
