Georgia Organics partners with Crystal Organic Farm, UGA Extension, and Seven Springs Farm Supply to provide technical education for farmers on integrated pest management in Organic crop production.

Join us on Tuesday, June 27 from 10:30 - 2:30 p.m. at Crystal Organic Farm (Newborn, GA) for this exciting educational workshop, featuring UGA Extension Specialists in entomology and plant pathology, and a Crop Adviser from Seven Springs Farm Supply.

Farmers will walk away with: 

• A better understanding of conservation biological control 

• A better understanding of predator-prey interactions occurring in their fields 

• Expanded knowledge on natural enemies and predator-prey interactions in farming systems 

• The skills to identify insects in egg, larva/nymph, and adult forms specific to different crops 

• A better understanding of how enhancing biodiversity impacts resources and habitats for natural enemies
