CSA stands for Community Supported Agriculture. In this system, the farmer sells “shares”to community members, who pay a lump sum to receive a weekly box of vegetables and meat. CSAs make crop planning and budgeting easier for farmers because they are paid upfront. This is a great way to eat fresh, local food, and you may even get to visit the farm!
