ATLANTA, GA, March 11, 2016


The members of Georgia Organics have elected four new board members. They are: Charlie Barnes, IV, CEO of Barnes Healthcare Services; Louisa D’Antignac, Trustee of the Wilbur and Hilda Glenn Family Foundation; Christopher Glover, Private Wealth Relationship Manager at Merrill Lynch; and Sujit Sharma, MD, Vice Section Chief, Department of Emergency Medicine, Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta at Scottish Rite. The board members were announced February 27 at the 19th Annual Georgia Organics Conference in Columbus, Georgia.

In addition to electing these four new directors, Georgia Organics members re-elected four current directors: Cheryl Galway, Executive Coordinator of Marketing for Whole Foods Market’s South Region; Jenni Harris, White Oak Pastures Marketing Manager; Carroll Johnson, Research Agronomist with United States Department of Agriculture–Agriculture Research Service; and Ellen Macht, Project Manager for the Atlanta Lettuce Project, an initiative of the Community Foundation for Greater Atlanta.

Ellen Macht was elected to lead the Board of Directors as its Chair, succeeding Mandy Mahoney, President of the Southeast Energy Efficiency Alliance.
