Sarah Bartlett Named Director of Development

Georgia Organics has appointed Sarah Bartlett as Director of Development. She formerly was Senior Associate Director of Development at The Carter Center, where she traveled with former U.S. President Jimmy Carter and raised more than $40 million in support of global health and human rights programs.

“We’re delighted to acquire to our management team a professional of Sarah’s caliber,” said Alice Rolls, executive director of Georgia Organics. “Her leadership and strategic thinking will be instrumental for building new partnerships and securing resources to allow us to achieve our long-range plans to build organic farmer prosperity and ensure access to fresh, healthy food.”

In previous positions, Bartlett raised key support for CARE and the Alachua Conservation Trust and managed air quality and commuter choice programs for the Perimeter Transportation Coalition. She received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Florida and in May 2016 will complete her Master’s in Public Administration at the Sol Price School of Public Policy at the University of Southern California.
