If you grow produce, flowers, or grains, raise animals, or keep bees and are selling your products, you are eligible to become a Farmer Member. Farmer Membership is the first step in becoming part of the Georgia Organics farmer community. As a Farmer Member, you will be eligible to apply for Farmer Services programming opportunities and support such as Accelerator, Kaiser Bridge, Organic Certification cost-share, Georgia Certified Organic Network, and cooperative purchases, along with year-round perks like discounts to Georgia Organics events and conferences, first spots to farmer-centric educational activities, free job postings on goodfoodjobs.com, and more! GEORGIA CERTIFIED ORGANIC NETWORK (GCON)

If you become a Farmer Member and your farm is Certified Organic, you are automatically eligible to be a part of GCON, the Georgia Certified Organic Network. *You will have the opportunity to opt-in or opt-out of GCON when you join as a Farmer Member. 

GCON was formed with current Certified Organic farmers in mind to address the unique challenges they face to stay in compliance with NOP standards, marketing the Organic brand to customers, going through the annual recertification process, and accessing resources specific to Certified Organic farms.

GCON aims to create Certified Organic farmer to farmer connections in Georgia through organizing engaging discussions around shared best practices, collectively defined challenges, and the identification of necessary resources for success as an Organic farmer. As part of GCON, members receive invitations to networking events and educational workshops for Certified Organic farmers, as well as customer-facing marketing materials for promoting the USDA Certified Organic brand.
