Georgia Organics is hosting a Farmer Field Day (FFD) on Monday, Oct. 2, 2023 at Bread & Butter Farms in Sparta, GA from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. aimed at farmers who want to gain a working knowledge of small engine service and outdoor power equipment repair and visit a diversified, Certified Organic produce and mushroom operation in Middle Georgia. 

This Farmer Field Day will be in two segments featuring a brief historical overview of the farm and a walking farm tour with Bread and Butter’s owners and operators, Musa and Micole Hasan. The second part of the Field Day, led by Matthew Bagshaw, involves an educational demonstration where attendees will learn how to diagnose, troubleshoot, and fix common problems associated with lawnmowers, tillers, weed eaters, and chainsaws.
