Join us for the Organic Growers Farmer Field Day at Grateful Pastures to learn about Organic livestock production! 

Georgia Organics is hosting an Organic Growers Farmer Field Day (OGFFD) on Monday, Sept. 25, 2023 from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Grateful Pastures Farm in Mansfield, GA. Organic Growers Farmer Field Days are educational workshops specifically geared towards transitioning and Certified Organic farmers.  

The field day will include a farm tour and an educational session, where Patrick Dost, an Organic Inspection Manager from Quality Certification Services (QCS) will join Shaun Terry, owner of Grateful Pastures, to talk about Organic certification, Organic livestock production (covering poultry, ruminants, swine, and dairy), and building a profitable, Certified Organic business.  

This field day will be highly valuable for:  

• Poultry and livestock producers interested in Organic Certification 

• Poultry producers interested in connecting with a local, Certified Organic chicken processor 

• Vegetable growers interested in selling Certified Organic eggs 

• Growers who want to learn more about pipelines into Certified Organic livestock production 

• Growers that want to program solve for creating a profitable, farm business system
